Profession of the Month:
Athletic Trainers
The profession of the month for March is Athletic Trainers.
To make it crystal clear…Athletic trainers are NOT personal trainers. Athletic trainers are medical professionals who aid in preventing, examining, treating, diagnosing, and rehabilitating injuries. They typically work with a team of other professionals, including physicians, and follow the NATA Code of Ethics while practicing athletic training. In order to become an AT ( Athletic Trainer ), you must graduate from an accredited Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE ) program and then pass the Board of Certification ( BOC ) exam. Athletic trainers is an extremely necessary occupation, and The Medical Tree is proud to recognize this profession for the month of March.
